Sergunina told about the first volunteer intensive "Good Heart of the Capital"

The first intensive "Good Heart of the Capital" will be held from December 9 to 25 by the resource center "Mosvolonter". Citizens over the age of 14 can join. They will test their knowledge of volunteerism, gain new experience and offer solutions for real tasks, said Deputy Mayor of the capital Natalia Sergunina.

"The intensive includes two stages. First, volunteers will have to take theoretical online courses and perform practical tasks, earning points. They will also be obtained by testing at the end of the training. After that, the 100 best participants will have a face-to-face round, where they will show their skills in a team business game," she said.

In the finals of the project volunteers will work on the tasks of partner organizations with the help of artificial intelligence. The authors of the most useful ideas will be awarded certificates and medals, offered to build an individual plan of personal development for the first half of 2025.

Theoretical online courses will be devoted to important areas for volunteers. For example, in the module "Personal Brand" listeners will be introduced to the basics of public speaking, social networking and self-presentation techniques. The "Team Management" module will teach you how to form and motivate your team. In addition, the courses will cover methods of setting and controlling tasks, strategies of behavior in different situations, principles of digital literacy and effective learning.
