The State Duma proposed to sell alcohol only in specialized places

In the State Duma introduced a bill on the possibility of selling alcohol exclusively in specialized places. The corresponding document was published on November 29 on the website of the system of support for legislative activity.

The document implies the location of places of placement and sale of alcohol separately from places of placement and sale of other goods. In other words, the demonstration and sale of alcoholic beverages in common halls, according to the authors of the bill, should be prohibited.

It is assumed that special places should be allocated for the retail sale of alcohol: departments, sections, premises. And access to such places should be prohibited to minors.

Now the sale of alcohol is allowed almost everywhere where food is sold, and alcoholic beverages are located in such a way that it is impossible to pass by them, explained the authors of the bill.

"Wine is often placed next to fruits, sausages, cheeses and snacks. Beer next to snacks, breadcrumbs, dried and dried fish, vodka next to herring, pickles and other food products. All these marketing moves lead to a huge number of spontaneous purchases of alcohol," the explanatory note specifies.

Earlier, in September, it was reported that in Russia may reduce the cost of a license to sell alcohol more than 3 times - from 65 thousand to 20 thousand rubles, but with mandatory licensing of all outlets.
