Air defense forces destroyed a Ukrainian missile over the Kursk region

A Ukrainian missile has been destroyed in the skies above the Kursk Region. This was reported by the Governor of the region Alexei Smirnov on Friday, November 29.

"A Ukrainian missile was destroyed in the morning in the skies of the Kursk region," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Smirnov also thanked the fighters of the air defense forces (Air Defense Forces) and the defenders of the border.

On the night of November 29, air defense forces destroyed 47 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions. It is specified that 29 drones were intercepted over the territory of Rostov region, eight - over the territory of Krasnodar region, three each over the territories of Belgorod, Bryansk and Voronezh regions and one over the territory of the Republic of Crimea.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
