A Moscow court fined journalist Barabanov for violating the law on foreign agents

Tagansky district court of Moscow has brought Russian journalist Ilya Barabanov (included by the Ministry of Justice in the register of foreign agents on the territory of the Russian Federation) to administrative responsibility. This was reported on Friday, November 29, by the press service of the courts of general jurisdiction of Moscow.
"Barabanov Ilya Alekseevich Barabanov was found guilty of committing an administrative offense under part 4 of article 19.34 of the CAO RF ("Violation of the order of the activities of a foreign agent")", - stated in the message.
As an administrative punishment, the figure was assigned an administrative fine in the amount of Br45 thousand.
Earlier, on August 5, the Khoroshevsky district court of Moscow refused to satisfy the administrative claim of journalist Barabanov to the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation on the recognition of the illegal decision to include in the register of foreign agents.
In April this year Barabanov was included in the register of foreign agents. As it is specified, Barabanov, who lives abroad, disseminated inaccurate information about the decisions taken by the Russian authorities and their policies and opposed the special operation in Ukraine. He also took part in the creation of foreign agents' materials.
