- The results of the All-Russian grant competition for teachers "Contribution to Generation" were summarized

"T-Education summarized the results of the second All-Russian annual Contribution to Generation contest. The winners were 164 teachers from 75 Russian cities. They will receive grants for 150 thousand rubles, the company reported.
The contest supports teachers in the field of physics, mathematics and computer science, whose contribution to education deserves special attention. This year, 4 thousand people took part. They filled out questionnaires, solved subject problems, then they were interviewed and their lessons were recorded on video. The expert jury included distinguished teachers of technical disciplines from schools and universities in Russia.
"We are well aware that in order to scale the professional community in IT, it is necessary to work at all stages of formation of such specialists. The grant competition for teachers plays an important role in this process, because here, as in other projects, we act as a link between academic education and business, helping teachers to nurture high-class specialists for the modern market," said Varvara Smirnova, Head of T-Bank Education.
The winners receive not only a grant, but also systematic methodological support. They will be given access to courses and additional materials that can be used in their work. The laureates will also be invited to a closed community where they can share their experiences with colleagues. In addition, teachers and their students will attend useful online and offline events.
"The competition really gives an impetus to mobilize the internal resources of an educator, an opportunity to prove oneself in all aspects of work. Additional materials allow us to expand our expertise, and I would especially note the courses for teachers and students, in which people from real professions share their experience," said the winner of the contest, computer science teacher from Chelyabinsk Andrei Rogov.
This year the geography of the Contribution to Generation contest covered all regions. The majority of applications came from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Ufa, Nizhny Novgorod, Perm, Tomsk and Cheboksary. Two thirds of the winners were teachers from regional schools.
