Deputy head of Bashkiria's Federal Penitentiary Service arrested in case of abuse of power

Sovetsky district court of Ufa elected a measure of restraint for the head of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Bashkiria in the form of two months' imprisonment on suspicion of abuse of power. This was reported on November 29 in the Telegram-channel of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Bashkortostan.

It is noted that he is accused of abuse of power, committed out of self-interest (paragraph "e" part 3 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

According to the investigation, the accused demanded from 10 subordinates to transfer to him a part of the accrued bonuses in the amount of 500 thousand rubles. Illegally obtained funds were found in the office of the deputy chief during a search.
