The Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD) has filed a lawsuit against OJSC Vladimir Plant Elektropribor, which is engaged in the production of means to combat unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This was reported in the Arbitration Court of Moscow on November 28.
The Defense Ministry considered that the manufacturer failed to fulfill its obligations, which were stipulated by the contract.
"The amount of the claim is 57 million 502 thousand 195 rubles," - reports TASS with reference to the Arbitration Court.
It is specified that the claim has been accepted for production.
Earlier, on October 18, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation found a complex of 15 buildings stolen from the Ministry of Defense for 244 million rubles in Balashikha. Khamovnichesky court of Moscow took into custody suspects in a large-scale theft of the property complex. It was specified that the suspects committed the crime during the implementation of bankruptcy proceedings of the enterprise, subordinate to the Ministry of Defense.
Before that it became known that the Ministry of Defense in June filed 23 lawsuits against the public-law company "Military Construction Company" (MCC). According to information from the electronic database of the Arbitration Court, the total amount of claims filed last month is 6.8 billion rubles. In the two largest lawsuits - for 2.9 billion and 1.7 billion - the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation is listed as a third party.
