Boxer Grigory Drozd predicted Johnson's victory in the fight against Minakov

Russian boxer Grigory Drozd said on Friday, November 29, what we can expect from the fight between four-time world champion in combat sambo Vitaly Minakov and boxer Kevin Johnson in the show "Fight Club REN TV. Super Series" in Moscow.

"The weaknesses <...> are probably age. And the weakness in terms of boxing for Vitali is that he is not a boxer, but a sambo fighter, and Kevin Johnson is a real pro. I think it will be a very difficult fight for Minakov, and I would probably bet on the victory of Kevin Johnson in this fight, because he is by far, in my opinion, better prepared for a boxing fight, "- said Drozd.

According to the athlete, Minakov is famous for his knockout punch, but for Johnson, who once fought for the title of world champion, this fight may turn out to be an ordinary "walk".

A massive boxing tournament as part of the gala show "REN TV Fight Club. Superseries" will be held on December 13 in the sports complex "Megasport". The main event of the evening will be a bout between MMA fighter Vitaly Minakov and boxer Kevin Johnson. Alexei Papin and American fighter Greg Hardy will meet in a consensual fight. European champion and two-time Russian boxing champion Sergey Kuzmin and professional boxer Murad Khalidov will also enter the ring.

On the same day, State Duma deputy and former world boxing champion Nikolai Valuev shared his opinion on the main and consonant fights to be held on December 13 in Moscow as part of the show "REN TV Fight Club. Superseries."

In his opinion, Minakov has nothing to gain, at least the "lucky punch" (punch at random. - Ed.) no one canceled. Valuev also specified that it is not worth hoping for a miracle that can change the course of the fight, as it will be very difficult to cope with Kevin Johnson.
