The project "Winter in Moscow" will start with a New Year's Eve flash mob in the capital's parks

A New Year's Eve flash mob within the framework of the project "Winter in Moscow" will be held in the capital on December 1. Holiday lights on Christmas trees will be simultaneously lit in 21 parks. Master classes, sports games and shows with the participation of fairy-tale characters are waiting for all guests. This was reported on November 29 on the official website of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

The main site for the holiday will be Gorky Park, it is there that the flash mob will begin. Moreover, Ilya Averbukh's ice show will be shown from 18:35 to 18:55. In total, more than 15 sites will take part in the project.

In Sokolniki Park visitors will play games with Ded Moroz and Snegurochka, and in "Hermitage" it will be possible to dance round the Christmas tree.

In addition, on December 1, a contest for the most original photo at the city Christmas tree will start. The winners will receive prizes.

The project "Winter in Moscow" is the main event of the season, which combines all the entertainment in the capital from December 1 to February 28. Everyone is given a huge choice of activities in the fresh air and in the city's cultural and sports institutions.

Earlier, on November 23, it became known that in Moscow from December 7 to 8 will be held a charity festival "City of not indifferent". In addition to the fair, guests will be able to participate in a charity quest, master classes and street winter games, designed for people of all ages.
