Sobyanin told about the condition of gas pipelines in Moscow

The gas supply system of Moscow turns 159 years old. On Friday, November 29, the mayor of the city Sergey Sobyanin told about how the gas supply system of the capital will be developed in his official blog.

"Today the gas supply system of the capital includes more than 9 thousand kilometers of pipes. Every year we lay and reconstruct more than 100 km of gas pipelines. We are developing gas supply to TINAO: new gas regulator points have been built, and by the end of the year another one will be ready - "Nikolsky", - the mayor said in the message.

Also, according to him, the modernization of 12 gas pipelines-duikers is coming to an end. At that, ten of them have already been reconstructed.

Earlier, on October 25, Sergei Sobyanin said that MCDs are a driving force in the process of increasing the number of passengers who use public transport. He added that in recent years the passenger traffic of railway radii transformed into MCDs has increased by 30%.
