The number of people poisoned in the Altai social center rose to 21 people


The number of victims of poisoning in a social center in Altai Krai has increased to 21 people. About it on Friday, November 29, reported in the regional Ministry of health.
"Specialists continue epidemiological investigation. According to the results of tests revealed acute intestinal infection without clinical manifestations in two more guests and one employee. All will be hospitalized in Barnaul," - stated in the message on the website of the agency.
The organization carried out processing and disinfection of premises. The guests continue to be monitored by medics, it was specified there.
The Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation in the Altai Territory in its Telegram-channel reported about the detention of the chairman of the board of the social organization. Earlier, the agency opened a criminal case on the fact of poisoning under Part 3 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet the safety requirements of life and health of consumers, resulting in the death of two or more persons by negligence").
Earlier, on November 28, it was reported that in Altai Krai three residents of a private social service center in the village of Kalistratikha Kalmansky district died, several more sought medical help. The Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee (ICS) of the Russian Federation for the region opened a criminal case on the indications of a crime under part 3 of article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet the safety requirements of life and health of consumers, causing the death of two or more persons by negligence").
The officers of the authorities have seized items of significance for the investigation. Forensic medical and chemical examinations are being conducted to establish the causes of the tragedy.
