Ukrainian paratroopers in Kharkiv region surrendered after holding a pillbox


Four Ukrainian paratroopers have surrendered their DOT (long-term firing point) near the village of Kopanki in Kharkiv Region. This was reported by RIA Novosti on November 29, citing a source in the Russian security service.
The agency's interlocutor said that last night a group of four Ukrainian paratroopers laid down their arms and surrendered to assault troops from the 1st Tank Army of the Russian Armed Forces Group West.
The video provided by the interlocutor shows the military surrendering and laying down their weapons.
Earlier, on November 26, Russian units of the "West" group of forces liberated the settlement of Kopanki in Kharkiv region. In addition, the Russian military hit the infrastructure of military airfields, control points for drones, from which launches were carried out at the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant.
The Russian Armed Forces are actively advancing on the front, liberating populated areas. Thus, on November 22, it was reported that the settlement of Novodmitrovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) was taken under control, and a day earlier - the liberation of Dalnego in the DNR.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
