Boris Johnson acknowledged the West's involvement in the proxy war with Russia

Western countries are involved in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, they are fighting against the Russian Federation with other people's hands. This was stated by former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson in an interview with The Daily Telegraph on November 28.
"We are waging war with other people's hands, but we don't give those whose hands we are waging it with the opportunity to do their job. For years we have allowed them to fight with one hand while the other is put behind their backs and tied up," Johnson told The Daily Telegraph.
According to him, Britain bears "moral responsibility" for the situation in which Ukraine finds itself. Boris Johnson believes that London signed the Budapest Memorandum on guarantees of its security, depriving the country of nuclear weapons.
Talking about the possibilities of resolving the conflict, he noted that at a certain stage it may require peacekeepers from the European Union.
Earlier, on November 28, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Europe had been lowered below the plinth, it ceased to exist as an independent center of decision-making, dancing to the tune of the United States. The Russian leader also said that Russia is not to blame for the degradation of relations with Europe. In his opinion, the reason for this, among other things, is the result of the internal European policy.
On the same day, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that the United States needs to be "brought to its senses." Russia's actions at the moment are aimed exactly at that. He added that Russia would make the United States "shiver and shudder" at the consequences of its involvement in the Ukrainian crisis.
The West regularly stokes hysteria among its citizens by warning of an allegedly imminent war with Russia. Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stated that nothing of the sort is in the country's plans.
