Spies eliminated AFU armored vehicles and manpower in the border area of Kursk region

On November 29, the Russian Defense Ministry published footage of combat work by servicemen of the reconnaissance unit of the "North" group of troops to eliminate armored vehicles and manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in populated areas of the border region of Kursk Region.

The footage shows how during reconnaissance operations of the AFU positions from the air, the attack aircrafts uncovered the enemy's defense system and firing points in one of the settlements.

Assault groups by rapid attack from different directions on combat vehicles supported by artillery fire and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) eliminated armored vehicles and personnel of the AFU.

At the command of the squad commander, the assault units on combat vehicles stormed the settlement. The enemy, unable to withstand the onslaught, fled into a wooded area, which allowed the assault units to gain a foothold and further in small groups under cover of folds of terrain to enter the positions of militants in the landing.

"Our artillery did well guys. They worked well, helped us, the infantry," said the company commander with the call sign Bookkeeper.

During the day, the enemy repeatedly tried to squeeze out the assault units, but small groups of the enemy were destroyed.

Earlier, on November 27, special forces of the Rosgvardia destroyed AFU personnel in the Kursk region. The point of temporary dislocation of the enemy was discovered in the forest area of the region. Objective control was established over the area.

The Ukrainian military attacked Russian positions in the border areas of the Kursk region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a state of emergency of federal character. The operation to destroy the militants continues.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
