In Buryatia, full-time classes in schools were canceled due to weather conditions


Buryatia canceled full-time classes in schools in five municipalities due to abnormally warm weather. This is stated by the press service of the government of Buryatia on November 29.
"In connection with the abnormally warm weather, Mukhorshibirsky, Tarbagataysky, Ivolginsky, Pribaikalsky districts and completely the city of Ulan-Ude partially went to the distance," - reported in a statement published in the Telegram-channel.
More than 80 thousand pupils studying in 77 secondary schools will not go to full-time classes.
The authorities ask residents of the city and districts not to use personal transport, as there is a heavy melting of snow, after which ice is formed.
The regional government reports that utility services are working in a reinforced mode, and on federal and regional roads contractors have switched to a reinforced mode of work, traffic police crews are on duty.
On the night of November 29, forecasters predicted a sharp cold snap in the Perm Region. In some places the temperature will drop to -20 degrees Celsius. According to forecasts, the coldest weather is expected in the mountain-eastern part of the region. In Perm the night temperature will be -7...-12 degrees Celsius. In the daytime hours the temperature will rise sharply to -3 degrees.
A day earlier in Blagoveshchensk the emergency regime was introduced due to a snowstorm. Schoolchildren were transferred to distance learning until November 29. Also, employers have the right to decide on their own to reduce the working day or transfer employees to a remote format.
