The fifth season of the "You're in the Game" contest kicked off in Moscow


On November 28, the fifth season of the All-Russian contest of sports projects "You're in the Game" kicked off in Moscow, the start of which was marked by a puck drop before a Continental Hockey League (KHL) match.
"A national goal has been set by President [Russian President Vladimir Putin]: 70% of people engaged in physical culture and sports by 2030. We have already practically reached 60%," Russian Sports Minister Mikhail Degtyaryov said.
The official specified that it will be the most difficult stage to gain the remaining 10%, and added that it is necessary to involve Russians in sports and overcome laziness so that all the infrastructure that is being built on the President's instructions will be loaded.
This year's contest features eight nominations. The results will be summarized in June 2025. The prize fund - 1 million rubles.
Earlier, on November 25, it became known about the loss of hockey club (HC) "Spartak" to Nizhny Novgorod "Torpedo" with a score of 6:0 in a match of the regular championship of the KHL. Thus, the Moscow club broke its winning streak.
Before that, on November 16, HC Lokomotiv defeated Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod in a regular season match of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). The game ended with a score of 1:0.
