The governor reported the destruction of two AFU drones over the Voronezh region

Air defense and electronic warfare (EW) systems have destroyed two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the skies above the Voronezh Region. This was reported by the governor of the region Gusev on Friday, November 29.

"On-duty air defense forces and REB means in one of the districts of the region detected and destroyed two unmanned aerial vehicles," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

According to preliminary data, there are no casualties and destruction. Operational services are working at the site.

At the same time Gusev specified that the danger of UAV attack in the region remains.

Shortly before that, the governor of Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov reported that two private houses were damaged as a result of a drone attack on the town of Shebekino.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
