Gladkov reported damaged houses in Shebekino as a result of a UAV attack

The town of Shebekino has been attacked by two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU). The incident was reported on November 28 by the governor of Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

"In two private houses and outbuildings, windows and roofing were damaged. Also on the territory of one of the houses the roof of the farm building caught fire - the fire was extinguished," - said the governor in his Telegram-channel.

He also added that there is localized damage to power lines. One street is temporarily without light. Emergency services have begun to eliminate the consequences of the attack and restoration work.

According to preliminary information, there are no casualties.

Earlier in the day it became known about the attack of two FPV-drones of the AFU in the Belgorod region. As a result of the attack there were no casualties. One private house was damaged.

Before that, on November 27, it became known about the attack of three drones in the Belgorod region. There were no casualties as a result of the attack, but the roof of a non-operational building, a truck and one social facility were damaged.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was made due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
