Internet shopping is only becoming more popular every year, but shoppers on the Web can encounter a number of problems. On November 29, Rospotrebnadzor compiled a list of recommendations on the safety of shopping on Black Friday.

First of all, Rospotrebnadzor advised to make a list of goods in advance. This will avoid impulsive purchases.

In order not to transfer money to fraudsters, it is important to check the authenticity of sites - sometimes attackers create fake pages of online stores with similar addresses. You should also keep in mind the possible risks associated with clicking on suspicious links, with unwanted emails or phone calls.

One of the safest ways of online transactions are credit cards and reliable payment services. Passing personal information such as your SNILS or bank account number to third parties can be risky.

Low-quality or damaged goods can be returned or exchanged, it is necessary to research the return and exchange policy of a particular store or retailer in advance.

Mentions of discounts are not always valid, sometimes it is a marketing ploy. Rospotrebnadzor recommended comparing prices for similar goods from different sellers to choose a more favorable option.

Earlier, on November 28, a survey conducted by Rosselkhozbank showed that almost half of the surveyed Russians (47%) plan to make purchases on "Black Friday". At the same time, 41% of respondents said that they will first see what stores will offer during this period, and 12% plan to refrain from participating in the promotions.

Before that, on November 8, in the Post Bank said that during the sales fraudsters are activated. As specified in the credit organization, the attackers, offering the most profitable offers, transfer users of the network to third-party sites.
