An airplane-type UAV was shot down in the Belgorod region

An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) aircraft type was shot down over the Gubkinsky city district of Belgorod Region. This was reported by Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov on November 28.

"In the village of Skorodnoye as a result of the fall of the drone's debris in two private households windows were broken out, facades, roofs and fences were slashed. One passenger car was also damaged," the governor wrote in his Telegram channel.

According to Gladkov, the UAV debris broke a gas pipe, which started a fire. The emergency service cut off the gas supply.

According to preliminary data, there are no casualties. Operational services are working on the spot.

Earlier in the day, two people were injured as a result of an attack by AFU drones in Belgorod region. FPV drone attacked a passenger car with two men in it. One of them received a mine blast injury and a back wound, the other - a barotrauma.

On the same day, an AFU drone damaged a private house in the Belgorod region. According to preliminary data, as a result of the attack, the roof of the building was penetrated, windows were broken and the attic room was damaged. There are no casualties, Gladkov specified.

Before that, on November 23, a civilian was wounded by a Ukrainian drone in Belgorod region. The victim was given medical assistance, after which he was sent to the hospital.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
