Four residential buildings will be demolished in St. Petersburg during the construction of the Big Smolensk Bridge. The city government has issued a resolution on the seizure and resettlement of two of them, said Evgeny Varov, acting chairman of the committee for the development of transport infrastructure, at a press conference on Thursday, November 27.

"Resolutions for the seizure and resettlement of two more houses are being prepared. I think that by mid-December the documents will be published," - said Varov, his words cited by TV channel "78".

The head of the Committee also noted that the appraisers are already communicating with the residents, inspecting the premises. In the future it will help to determine the amount of compensation to be paid to the residents of the houses under the resettlement. The evaluation work will be completed, tentatively, by mid-December.

At present, the construction of the Big Smolensk Bridge across the Neva River is being carried out slightly ahead of schedule. The employees of the company "Roads and Bridges", acting as a contractor, have completed the installation of all supports.
