A boy from Kursk Region named Seryozha with the call sign Patriot, who every day goes out on the road and sees off passing Russian fighters, wants to become a military man when he grows up. The young Kurian told about his dream on November 28.
Seryozha is studying in the third grade. The road leading to the town of Suja passes by his house. Every day the boy goes out on it, meets and sees off passing military men until darkness falls. The schoolboy dreams of linking his career with the army and serving in the Airborne Troops (VDV) in the future.
"I want to protect my family, my mom, my parents," the boy explained.
There are six children in Seryozha's family, and he is the youngest of them. His parents bought the third-grader a military uniform and a toy bulletproof vest, and the Russian fighters gave him a machine gun and helmet. Seryozha's mother Lyubov Ivanovna shared that the child himself decided to meet and see off the units that defend the Kursk region from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
"Until lunch he has lessons in a remote format, then he immediately runs to his post and is on duty until it starts to get dark. We do homework in the evening," said Seryozha's mother.
Soldiers of the Russian army note that seeing the boy off raises their morale, it is difficult to contain emotions at the sight of him. A soldier with the call sign Esaul noted that Seryozha stands by the road even in cold weather and rain. The soldier assumes that such a decision of the boy was influenced by the upbringing of his parents and the fact that the family lives in the border area of Kursk region. Esaul is pleased that Russia is raising such a generation, which can be relied on.
Earlier, on September 5, the evacuated resident of Suzhi Tamila Shepil thanked the Russian military for helping civilians to leave the city during the AFU invasion. Sujanka said that this attack by Ukrainian fighters was different from previous attacks. First, the power went out in the houses, and then communication and water disappeared. This was followed by massive shelling.
Ukrainian militants attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a state of emergency of federal character. The operation to destroy the AFU continues, for example, on November 28, the crew of a Ka-52M helicopter eliminated AFU personnel and a stronghold in the Kursk border region. Missiles were used in the strike, and all targets were successfully hit.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
