Forecaster predicts snow cover in Moscow to grow up to 3 cm by the weekend


Anatoly Tsygankov, Deputy Head of the Situation Center of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center, has predicted that up to 3 cm of snow will fall in Moscow by the weekend.
In a conversation with "Radio 1" on November 27, the expert said that in November in the capital the air temperature was two degrees above normal. All week until the weekend, the pre-winter warm weather persists.
So, according to the forecaster, on Friday, November 29, in the capital region will be wet snow, then there will be a relatively warm atmospheric front. About 2-3 cm of snow will fall. The daytime temperature will be from 0 to +2 degrees. On Sunday, precipitation is not expected.
Earlier on November 28 in the Ministry for the maintenance of territories and state housing supervision of the Moscow region reported that because of precipitation in the region utilities began treatment of sidewalks and intra-block roads with anti-icing agents.
