Russian leader Vladimir Putin has questioned the safety of US President-elect Donald Trump. At a press conference following his state visit to Kazakhstan on November 28, he recalled that absolutely uncivilized methods of struggle were used against the Republican in the United States, up to and including an assassination attempt.

"I was struck by the fact that uncivilized methods of struggle were used against Trump, up to the attempted assassination, and repeatedly. Speaking of which, in my opinion, he is not safe now either," Putin said.

The Russian leader took umbrage at the attacks on the Trump family in the US domestic political struggle, pointing out that even thugs in Russia don't do that.

The head of state also did not rule out that the administration of current White House chief of staff Joe Biden is trying to create difficulties for Trump in relations with Moscow.

Thefirst ass assinationattempt on Trump occurred on July 13 at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania. The politician received a gunshot wound in the ear tangentially. One of the spectators was killed, two were wounded. The assailant was eliminated by return fire from an FBI sniper.

The second attempt was made on September 15: there was a shooting at a golf club in West Palm Beach. Trump was 500 meters from the scene, he was not injured.

Later, on November 27, US federal authorities arrested a man who threatened to kill Trump and members of his family. It was specified that the arrested person had published in the social network a number of videos with threats against "person No. 1". Sources familiar with the investigation confirmed that the threats were directed against Trump.
