Putin indicated that Russia has a suitable response for every target in Ukraine

Russia will have its own answer for each target in Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin said this during his approach to journalists in Astana on November 28, answering Izvestiya's question.
"Let's say that striking a hypersonic missile at some insignificant target, seemingly small in volume, is pointless, because it's like shooting sparrows with a cannon. But we will use the means at our disposal for significant targets, including, as I also said, we do not exclude the use of Oreshnik against military industry facilities or decision-making centers. And in Kiev in particular," Putin said.
He emphasized that Russia would respond to aggression by Ukraine. According to Putin, the preferred weapons and time for the response will depend on the target that the Russian Armed Forces General Staff will choose. A suitable tool should be selected for each target in Ukraine, the Russian president said.
On the same day, Putin said the country had launched 100 missiles and 466 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) against targets in Ukraine over the past two days. All of these strikes were in response to U.S. ballistic missile attacks by Kiev.
On Nov. 21, Putin said that Ukraine had used Western long-range weapons against the Russian state, causing the regional conflict to take on elements of a global conflict. He also said that one of Russia's newest medium-range missile systems, the Oreshnik ballistic missile, had been tested under combat conditions.
The special operation to protect Donbass, which began on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
