More than 20,000 subscribers left without light in Zaporizhzhya region after AFU attack

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have attacked Zaporizhzhya Region with drones, leaving over 20.5 thousand subscribers without electricity. This was reported by the Governor of the region Yevgeny Balitsky on November 28.

"Kuibyshevsky municipal district was attacked. A high-voltage power line was damaged, 68 settlements (20,528 subscribers) were left without electricity. After stabilization of the situation will begin restoration work", - wrote the head of Zaporizhzhya region in his Telegram-channel.

He noted that there is a massive attack of the AFU drones on the city of Kamenka-Dneprovskaya, there are working air defense means (air defense). Balitsky urged residents to remain calm and not to go out on the streets until the situation stabilizes.

The governor added that he was in constant contact with operational services. The consequences of the AFU strikes are still being clarified, and no information about casualties has been received yet.

The day before, on November 27, air defense forces destroyed a Ukrainian drone over the city of Melitopol in the Zaporizhzhya region. Sounds similar to explosions were heard in some areas of the settlement.

On November 26, Ukrainian militants launched a drone attack on the town of Vasilievka and shelled Kamenka-Dneprovska with artillery. No one was injured.

The Ukrainian armed forces are shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions on a daily basis against the background of the special operation to protect Donbas, the start of which was announced by Russia on February 24, 2022.
