Putin praised the results of his visit to Kazakhstan


Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a press conference in Astana on Thursday, November 28, that he highly evaluates the results of his state visit to Kazakhstan.
"Well [I assess the outcome of the visit]. Kazakhstan, I have already said it many times, is not just our ally, a reliable partner, it is very important that Kazakhstan is developing successfully," Putin said.
The head of state noted that he assesses the prospects of cooperation with the republic well, because Moscow and Astana are natural partners and allies. The development of their relations has good prospects.
The Russian President noted that the socio-political situation in Kazakhstan is stable, and this contributes to strengthening its economy and increasing investment. Putin pointed out that the two states have already transferred more than 80% of their settlements in rubles and tenge, and this facilitates work in the financial sphere.
The Russian leader noted that Astana and Moscow should do everything to strengthen their ties. For example, it should be done in the energy sector - there may be very large projects in the field of transportation of energy resources from Russia to third countries through the territory of Kazakhstan.
The day before Putin arrived in Kazakhstan on a two-day visit November 27, Tokayev met him at the airport. At the meeting, the presidents discussed the development of bilateral relations, and the Kazakh leader noted that Astana has been and remains a reliable strategic partner and ally of Moscow.
During the talks, the Russian president noted the dynamic development of relations between Russia and Kazakhstan, adding that they have not only business but also friendly nature. In addition, the head of state said that Russia plans to increase its gas supplies to Uzbekistan through the territory of Kazakhstan. In addition, the construction of three new thermal power plants in Kazakhstan is on the agenda of relations between Moscow and Astana.
On the same day, the two leaders took part in a painting by Kazakh artist Asel Sabyrzhankyzy. The painting depicts a bridge of friendship between Moscow and Astana.
