More than 2 mln fry released into water bodies in Transbaikalia

More than 2 million fish fry were released into the water bodies of Zabaikalsky in the current 2024 year. The work was carried out under the control of Rosrybolovstvo, the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture reports.

We are talking about 1.4 million fry of carp, 326 thousand fry of grayling, 303 thousand pelada and 94 thousand sturgeon. Fish were launched in the rivers Onon, Chikoi, Ingoda, Chara, Khilok and in lakes Shaksha and Ivan, writes IA ChitaMedia.

Earlier it was reported that in Transbaikalia they are building an aqua-farm where Siberian sturgeon and rainbow trout will be grown. The cost of the facility is estimated at 24.5 million rubles.
