Nina Karpova was born in Leningrad in 1933. After graduating from Shchukinsky College, she was invited to his theater director Nikolai Akimov. During her long career at the Comedy Theater, she played more than 80 roles. Karpova also starred in more than 75 motion pictures, including the TV series "Sea Devils" and "Streets of Broken Lanterns".
