Autoblogger Gadzhiev, who hit pedestrians, was arrested until January 15


Odintsovo City Court of Moscow Region has sentenced auto blogger Gadzhi Gadzhiev, who hit pedestrians on the road, to arrest until January 15, Izvestiya correspondent reports from the courtroom on November 28.
According to investigators, November 16, at one of the toll plots of the federal highway near Odintsovo, 26-year-old Gadzhiev, being behind the wheel of a BMW, failed to cope with the control, after which his car hit people standing on the roadside. Two people were injured.
Before the hearing, Gadzhiev said that after the accident he tried to help the victims and escorted them to the hospital. The blogger added that he turned to law enforcement officials with guilt because of the wide publicity of the accident on the Internet.
It was noted during the meeting that Gadzhiev had fled the scene of the crime and had been wanted since November 18.
Before that, on November 26, auto blogger Gadzhiev was detained on suspicion of committing a traffic accident in Odintsovo near Moscow. It was noted that his car hit the citizens standing on the roadside. Two people were injured, they were taken to hospital. A criminal case was initiated under paragraph "b" part 2 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of the rules of road traffic and operation of vehicles") and Article 267.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Actions threatening the safe operation of vehicles"). The Izvestiya source noted that the detained Gadzhiev himself came to the law enforcers with a confession.
