Russians named criteria for ideal housing

Free layout of the apartment was preferred by 35% of the surveyed Russians, the classical layout with clear zoning of all rooms was chosen by 30%. This is stated in the research results of the developer PIK, which were read by "Izvestia" on November 29. Experts learned about the priorities of buyers when choosing housing.
At the same time, 30% of survey participants would like additionally in their apartment to have the opportunity to equip a pantry (30%), 32% - separate nurseries for each child, 27% - a dressing room.
"For 37% it is important to have a working office, if space allows. Respondents 26-35 years old need a separate working area most of all: in this group the presence of a study is important for 60%, critical - for another 13%," - said the experts.
As the results of the study show, respondents pay a lot of attention to the layout and landscaping of yards when choosing an apartment. 34% want to see a calm atmosphere with the opportunity to relax from the bustle of the city in the yard and house, 26% want to see a family and safe, so that children can play outside. Almost every fifth respondent (19%) considers buying real estate only in complexes with closed courtyards without cars, another 40% consider the presence of a closed courtyard is important, but still not the key criterion of choice.
In addition, the experts found out that in addition to the price per square meter, an important factor in the choice of housing buyers most often becomes an important infrastructure nearby - the presence of stores, schools, parks and squares. This was reported by 32% of respondents. For 20% of respondents, proximity to school and work is important. Convenient and functional layout of the apartment and proximity to the subway and transportation stops received 16% of votes.
Earlier, November 2, it was reported that every third Russian considers the most comfortable "young" secondary housing - real estate, which is 3-10 years old. This is stated in the results of the VTB survey. About 30% more comfortable called a country house. The comfort of new buildings - up to three years from the date of delivery of the house - noted 23% of respondents. And only 15% prefer secondary housing, which is more than 10 years old.
