Planned exercises of law enforcement agencies are held in Sevastopol

A large-scale comprehensive training of law enforcement agencies has begun in Sevastopol on the instructions of Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev. The agencies will work on countering the penetration of saboteurs, the head of the city said.

The maneuvers will be held during the day, writes SevastopolMedia IA. They involve units of terror-defense: law enforcement agencies, SSUE "Detachment Sevastopol", and "BARS-Sevastopol".

The exercises are taking place near the Yalta Ring, Andreevka and Orlovsky Bridge, in the area of the coastline of the North Side, Fruktovoye and Tylovoye.

In connection with the event, Razvozhayev urged citizens to remain calm and not to worry when meeting people with small arms, roadblocks on the roads and special equipment. All necessary security measures are being observed.

Earlier "Izvestia" wrote that Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the establishment in the Armed forces of the Russian Federation of a new professional holiday - Marine Corps Day. The holiday will be celebrated in the country annually on a fixed date - November 27.
