Timofey the Pallas' Manul from the Moscow Zoo has completed the healing process: he has gained sufficient weight and grown fur, the zoo's Telegram channel reported on Thursday, November 28.

"By the beginning of winter, the symbol of the Moscow Zoo has become 7 kg 50 g. By the cold weather Timosha noticeably rounded up, became more fluffy. Also his sides turned red. Now zoologists are gradually reducing the number of feedings and portions, food is weighed to control Timothy's weight," the Moscow City News Agency quoted the report as saying.

In the fall, the Pallas' cat was fed twice a day at 350-400 grams a day, and on Sunday he had an unloading day.

"Now Timosha has alternating days with feeding twice and once a day. Sunday is still a 'hungry' day. And the size of the daily portion has decreased to 150-250 g", - specified the general director of the zoo Svetlana Akulova.

With the onset of cold weather and snowfall, the Pallas' cat has started to go outside less often - early in the morning or late in the evening. Timofey will start to thin a little by spring around February, during this period zoologists will continue to reduce his diet. By June, he will complete the period of fattening.

Earlier it became known that in Moscow you can buy a themed key chain "Troika" with the image of Timofey the Pallas' cat from the Moscow Zoo, as reported on the website of "Moscow 24".

The key chain can be purchased at "Live Communication" stands and in flagship stores at Mayakovskaya and Trubnaya metro stations, RT reports.

On November 1, the Moscow Zoo announced a contest for those who watch broadcasts from animal enclosures. According to the terms, viewers should send screenshots of interesting moments of broadcasts, screen recordings, and memes.
