The captain of the ship that sank in the waters of the Barents Sea was found to have alcohol in his blood. This was reported on November 28 by the Western Interregional Investigative Department on transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia (IC RF).

"In the course of medical examination revealed the presence of alcohol in the blood," - stated in the Telegram-channel of the Department.

At the moment the question of choosing a measure of restraint to the man is being decided.

North-West Transport Prosecutor's Office reported on November 27 that a pleasure boat with tourists on board overturned in the waters of the Barents Sea in the Murmansk region. According to the Izvestia source, there were 11 tourists on board the ship "Boyets". They were rescued by the ship "St. Ekaterina".

A criminal case was initiated on this fact.

A high wave could be the cause of the roll, which caused the ship "Boyets" to sink near the village of Teriberka in the Barents Sea.
