Russian servicemen have hit the infrastructure of military airfields and concentrations of personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on Thursday, November 28.

"The infrastructure of military airfields, as well as accumulations of enemy manpower and military equipment in 146 areas were hit," the statement said.

In addition, air defense assets shot down a Neptune guided missile and 49 aircraft-type drones, the ministry added.

Earlier on Thursday, the Defense Ministry said that the Russian military, using an FPV drone, destroyed a launcher of the AFU's APKWS II surface-to-air missile system (SAM), which was located near the village of Ochakov in the Mykolaiv region. The Office also showed footage of objective control of the target.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
