The key project in 2025 will be the launch of Lada Iskra production, and one of the nearest novelties will be the Niva Sport SUV. Upgrades to popular models are also planned, including the introduction of a more modern 1.8-liter engine on the Niva family.
The production plan for 2025 is 500 thousand cars, and the volume of investments in development will reach 45 billion rubles. One of the priorities of AvtoVAZ will be the maintenance and improvement of production facilities and the development of the component base.
In 2025, the SPIEF will be held on June 18-21. This year at the forum AvtoVAZ presented a new Lada Iskra.
On November 26, AvtoVAZ announced the resumption of production of Lada Niva Travel cars with airbags and ERA-GLONASS emergency call system. Also, SUVs were equipped with a new steering wheel.
Before that, on November 22, the head of AvtoVAZ said that the automaker does not plan to install an automatic transmission on the SUVs of the "Niva" family. Technically, it is possible to equip "Niva" with such a transmission, but such a modification will not be in demand among buyers, said the domestic car company.
