A children's playroom was opened in a health resort in Berdyansk, Zaporizhzhya region.

"I liked it: TV, deflated balls that inflate and deflate, I also liked catching fish, rocking on the rocking chair and also liked jumping on these pouffes", - said little Kostya.

The idea to create this space belongs to the "People's Front" and the charitable Foundation for Children of Donbass, established by the Joint Stock Bank "RUSSIA". Such children's rooms have already been opened in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) and the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR). The room in Zaporizhzhya region is decorated with motifs of Russian fairy tales and national achievements. Children in such rooms can distract themselves from the stress caused by being in the hospital.

According to the head of the regional executive committee of the "People's Front" of Zaporizhzhya region Lyubov Kolesnik, about 12 children's rooms will be opened in the region, in total more than 40 such rooms will be opened in the cities of Donbass and Novorossiya.

"The rooms are well thought out, there is everything for different ages, and patriotic support, and developmental, and interactive games, and TV with cartoons," she pointed out.

According to Christina Fedoseyeva, director of the Donbass Children's Charitable Foundation, requests from the chief doctors of medical institutions are being received from four regions. According to her, rooms with a small area are allocated for these premises, in connection with which it is necessary to develop an individual design project.

"To carry out preparatory work, to purchase, to put furniture, to make the design of the room. It is quite complicated and time-wise a long story," added Fedoseyeva.

Earlier, on October 21, a game room was opened for young patients of the Central City Hospital of Khartsyzsk in the DNR. The mother of one of the patients of the Central City Hospital said that her three-year-old daughter came to the medical institution with a cold. At the moment, the child is on the mend. According to the woman, the nursery has improved the quality of life of children. The creators of this project expressed hope that by creating play spaces, visiting hospitals will become more comfortable for the younger generation. According to preliminary estimates, the project will affect more than 160 thousand children.
