Educator from Krasnoyarsk region convicted for child's death


In Krasnoyarsk region, the court sentenced a kindergarten teacher in Lesosibirsk to two years of restricted freedom because of the fact that during a walk a boy got stuck between the railings and later died in hospital. This is stated in the report of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region and Khakassia on November 28.
"By the court sentence the defendant was sentenced to two years of restriction of freedom - the woman will not be able to travel outside the city of Lesosibirsk and change without the consent of a specialized body place of residence. The woman was found guilty of causing the death by negligence of a three-year-old kindergarten pupil due to improper performance of his professional duties (part 2 of article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation)", - indicated in the message.
Investigators noted that the cause of death of the child was the criminal negligence of the educator in the performance of duties. The defendant admitted her guilt in full.
The tragedy occurred back in 2023. The kindergarten teacher took the children of her group out for a walk. But during the game, a three-year-old boy got stuck between the flooring and the railing of the playground complex. The child was trapped in the chest area and hung in a vertical position with his legs downwards, from this position he could not get out on his own, it led to mechanical asphyxia with compression of the chest, and subsequently to the death of the child.
In April, a teacher in a kindergarten in Krasnoyarsk was found guilty of child abuse. In the kindergarten "Solnyshko" on the 70-year-old teacher of physical education repeatedly complained to parents by students. According to them, the teacher could use swear words or hit the wall.
