The Russian Armed Forces have broken through the defenses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) in the village of Vishnevoye in Kharkiv Region. This was reported on Thursday, November 28, by retired Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko, a military expert.

"As a result of successful actions of the Russian Armed Forces managed to break through the defensive line of the armed formations of Ukraine west of the settlement of Vishnevoye and start measures to liberate the settlement of Zelenyi Gai," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

According to the military expert, Russian troops advanced in the area of Stelmakhovka, occupying 8 hectares of land on the administrative border of the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR).

Earlier, on November 26, Marochko said that the Russian army had advanced in the Kupyansk section of the fighting in Kharkiv region.
