Air defense systems overnight intercepted two AFU drones over Rostov region

In Rostov Region overnight, air defense means intercepted two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported on Thursday, November 28, by acting governor Yuri Slyusar.

"Overnight, two UAVs were destroyed in the Rostov region - one each in Taganrog and Kamensk," Slyusar wrote in his Telegram channel.

There were no casualties or destruction on the ground, he added.

On the night of November 26, Slyusar reported four destroyed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), including near the city of Novoshakhtinsk, Taganrog, Kamensk and Zernograd. There are no casualties or destruction on the ground.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
