France is interested in the creation of a ballistic missile with a range of at least 1 thousand kilometers after the test of "Nuttall". This is reported on Wednesday, November 27, the magazine Challenges.

"According to our information, France is studying the French project of a conventional ballistic missile, the range of which may exceed 1 thousand kilometers," - said in the material of the publication.

The magazine also specified that the decision was made because the superfast ballistic missiles used by Russia, Iran and Israel in recent months have demonstrated tremendous effectiveness.

The key characteristic of the new missile should be the ability to actively maneuver in the terminal section before hitting the target.

Earlier, on November 27, the president of the National Research Center (NRC) "Kurchatov Institute" Mikhail Kovalchuk said in a conversation with Izvestia that the successful creation of Russia 's Oreshnik ballistic missile paved the way for developments that in the future could be operated at even higher temperatures.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Nov. 21 that one of Russia's newest medium-range missile systems, the Oreshnik ballistic missile, had been tested under combat conditions in Ukraine in response to escalation by Western countries. The next day, the head of state specified that Russia would continue testing the Oreshnik, and that the decision on the serial production of these missiles had already been made. In addition, several other weapons of this kind are currently under development.

The West regularly stirs up hysteria among the citizens of its countries, warning of an allegedly imminent war with Russia. The Russian leader has repeatedly stated that nothing of the sort is in the country's plans.
