WSJ reported on Biden's inability to spend all the funds allocated to Kiev

The administration of incumbent US President Joe Biden has at least $6.5bn in funds allocated for arming Ukraine. However, the Pentagon has reached the limit of arms transfers. This was reported by The Wall Street Journal on Wednesday, November 27.
The Pentagon now intends to transfer between $500-750 million worth of weapons from its stockpile to Ukraine each month, up from the average amount in previous months, the Journal reported. The upcoming shipments are expected to consist mostly of ammunition and artillery.
"According to US and congressional officials, the Biden administration does not have enough time left to use the billions of dollars allocated by lawmakers to arm Ukraine, leaving President-elect Donald Trump to decide what to do with the remaining money," the publication's piece said.
On the eve it became known that Joe Biden asked Congress to allocate $24 billion to Ukraine to strengthen its military potential and replenish America's empty reserves.
Meanwhile, on November 14, Pentagon press secretary Sabrina Singh said that the USA intended to supply Ukraine with all the weapons promised by Biden before he leaves office.
On November 13, White House adviser Jake Sullivan said that Biden would ask Congress for additional funds to support Ukraine before leaving office.
Western countries have stepped up military and financial support for Ukraine amid Russia's special operation to protect Donbass, which began on February 24, 2022. The decision to conduct it was made by the Russian president because of the aggravation of the situation in the region due to the increased shelling by Ukrainian troops.
