Air defense forces destroyed five AFU drones in the skies over the Bryansk region

Air defense forces have destroyed five drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the skies over the Bryansk Region. This was reported by Governor Alexander Bogomaz on November 28.

"Five enemy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of aircraft type were detected and destroyed by the air defense forces of the Russian Ministry of Defense over the Bryansk region," he informed in his Telegram channel.

The governor noted that there were no casualties or damage as a result of the incident. Operational and emergency services are working on the site.

Earlier, on November 26, Bogomaz reported the destruction of two UAVs over the Bryansk region, a few hours earlier - about another downed drone.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the backdrop of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
