French MEP talks about possible secondary sanctions against EAEU countries

The EU may impose restrictions on Russia's partners in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), particularly Kazakhstan, in order to fight attempts to circumvent anti-Russian sanctions. This viewpoint was expressed by Thierry Mariani, a member of the European Parliament from France, in a conversation with Izvestia.
"The European Union is increasingly trying to fight attempts to circumvent sanctions. Because if they don't work, someone else is inevitably to blame. So it is quite possible that there will be such restrictions, in addition, at the moment, there are already restrictions that have been imposed, which concern third countries or other companies," he said.
November 28 in the European Parliament will vote on the resolution, which, among other things, calls on the European Council to expand sanctions against Russia, Belarus and "third countries, as well as organizations" that supply the Russian military-industrial complex with dual-use technologies and military equipment.
