Private Alexei Tereshchenko delivered ammunition to Russian army units after breaking through massive artillery fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). On Thursday, November 28, the Russian Defense Ministry described new feats of Russian servicemen in the Special Military Operation (SMO) zone.

Tereshchenko was tasked with delivering the necessary ammunition to the battalion tactical groups of the Russian Armed Forces. The private has already carried out such transportation many times, sneaking to the destination point in close proximity to the front line. This time, however, his vehicle was subjected to heavy artillery fire and attacks by enemy copters.

Tereshchenko managed to avoid the AFU strike thanks to professionally performed maneuvering. He delivered ammunition to the destination point, and headed back to the rear with several wounded soldiers who needed evacuation and medical care.

The Defense Ministry also said that the anti-aircraft missile division under the command of Captain Ivan Denisov protected the infrastructure and provided air cover for the Russian units, which avoided destruction.

Earlier, on November 26, the Russian Defense Ministry said that Private Igor Orlov detected the movement of AFU vehicles and ensured their destruction.

On November 25, the Defense Ministry said that Private Vladimir Varich detected an approaching sabotage group of the AFU consisting of seven people, reported about the saboteurs, took an advantageous position and opened fire from a machine gun on the enemy, restraining its movement. As a result, the enemy suffered losses and was forced to retreat.

The special operation to defend Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
