American businessman, billionaire and owner of social network X (formerly Twitter) Ilon Musk said that books by Russian writer Fyodor Dostoevsky are better than many books on psychology. He stated this on his page in the social network X.

Musk commented on the publication of one of the users who posted an excerpt from the novel "The Brothers Karamazov" with the caption that some books on psychology do not reach the same level as this fragment. The owner of the social network responded that this is indeed the case.

Earlier, on November 16, Musk promised to "find and destroy" those who accused him of ties with Russia. So he responded to the appeal of two Democratic senators to the Pentagon and the U.S. Department of Justice with a call to investigate his "alleged contacts with Moscow." As Reuters reported the day before, the request was formed by senior Foreign Affairs Committee member Jeanne Shaheen and Armed Services Committee Chairman Jack Reed.

On the same day, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, commenting on the publication of Reuters, advised the senators from the Democratic Party of the United States, instead of investigating contacts between Musk and Moscow, to investigate the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy and the issue of corruption of United States President Joe Biden.

Before that, in October, the American newspaper The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported that Ilon Musk has allegedly been in regular contact with Russian President Vladimir Putin since the end of 2022. At the time, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the information about the American businessman's "regular" contacts with the president was false and that they had only had one phone conversation.
