Storm Conall has paralyzed rail services in the south of the UK

In the south of Britain, the work of the transportation system was stopped due to the storm "Conall", which brought up to 40 mm of rainfall overnight. This was reported by The Guardian on Wednesday, November 27.
Also the Kingdom's weather bureau warned of delays on the roads and possible power cuts for London and areas of Essex, Kent, Surrey and West Sussex.
On Wednesday morning there were no trains between Ascot in Berkshire and Aldershot in Hampshire, while part of the line was blocked on the Isle of Wight. There were also disruptions to train services on the Thameslink, Gatwick Express and Southern networks.
The country is still suffering from flooding after last week's Storm Burt, which flooded more than 500 homes and businesses in England and Wales.
Earlier on Nov. 24, three people died due to Storm Burt in the UK. According to Hampshire Police, a 60-year-old man died after a tree crashed into his car on a highway near Winchester. Another victim of the elements was a 34-year-old man from West Yorkshire who failed to control his car on an icy and snow-covered road. In Northamptonshire, a man was also killed in a road accident.
