Two residents of Dzerzhinsk in the DNR were injured in an AFU attack

Two civilians of the town of Dzerzhinsk in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) were injured as a result of an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported on Wednesday, November 27, by the mayor of Gorlovka Ivan Prikhodko.
"As a consequence of Ukrainian armed aggression two civilians of the city of Dzerzhinsk of the Gorlovka urban district were wounded," he wrote in Telegram-channel.
According to Prikhodko, at about the same time Ukrainian militants shelled the Komsomolets residential area. In addition, during the day the settlement of Ozyoryanivka came under artillery fire, and in the morning another civilian was wounded in Dzerzhinsk.
Earlier in the day, the head of the DNR Denis Pushilin said that the AFU was destroying buildings with its military personnel in Dzerzhinsk while the Russian army was advancing. Unable to stop the advance of the Russian Armed Forces, the enemy is also hitting civilian neighborhoods in nearby Gorlovka, he added.
Before that, on November 21, 12 civilians in Horlivka were wounded after shelling by Ukrainian militants. As Pushilin pointed out at the time, such attacks make no sense from a military point of view.
The Ukrainian armed forces are shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions on a daily basis against the backdrop of the special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russia on February 24, 2022.
