Patrushev visited the Chishma oil extraction plant in Bashkortostan

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev made a working trip to the Republic of Bashkortostan on November 27, where he visited the Chishma oil extraction plant.
"One of the leading enterprises of the industry was visited today by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev during his working trip to the region. Chishma oil extraction plant is a high-tech enterprise that regularly modernizes and increases its capacity, being the largest exporter of agricultural products in the region. Up to 1 thousand tons of sunflower and more than 600 tons of rape are processed here daily, and more than 300 tons of vegetable oil are produced," the press release says.
Realization of export potential and growth of production volumes of the enterprise are also promoted by the measures of state support, the Cabinet of Ministers pointed out. In particular, it is a question of subsidizing part of the costs of transportation of products abroad and certification in foreign markets.
It is noted that the oil and fat industry remains one of the leaders of Russian food exports. The government named high demand on the world market, expansion of sown areas under oilseeds in 2024 and production growth as prerequisites for increasing its supplies abroad. In particular, the production of oilseed crops is increasing in Bashkortostan, and today the region exports to more than 40 countries.
Earlier, on November 25, Patrushev noted that Russia is a leading supplier of many food products and an active participant in international humanitarian programs. He also pointed out that the country will be able to export up to 60 million tons of grain in the current agricultural season.
