In Spain, an explosion at a factory left three people dead and seven injured

Three people were killed and seven suffered as a result of an explosion at the plant in the village of Ibi in the Spanish province of Alicanta. This was reported by EFE agency on Wednesday, November 27, citing data from the Information and Coordination Center for Emergency Situations.

According to the agency, the incident occurred around 12:00 local time (14:00 Moscow time - Ed.). As a result of the boiler explosion, the roof and part of the walls of the factory collapsed, leaving several people who were in the warehouse trapped under the debris.

At the scene of the incident at the moment working firefighters, police and ambulance.

Earlier, on November 25, it was reported about the second explosion in a month at the oil refinery of the company Tupras in the town of Aliaga in the province of Izmir in western Turkey. After the explosion, a fire started at the facility, which was extinguished. The footage published on social networks shows the fire raging in part of the plant.

Before that, on November 5, an explosion followed by a fire occurred at the Tupras refinery in the city of Izmit in Kocaeli province. The incident occurred during maintenance work on a compressor. Light injuries were sustained by 12 employees of the plant.
